What is Community CONNECT?

Our Community CONNECT sessions offer a unique and refreshing approach to counselling, leveraging the proven benefits of nature and movement for your well-being. Stepping outside the traditional office setting, these sessions can reduce stress and anxiety by naturally lowering stress hormones, and many clients report improved mood and a sense of calm almost immediately. The "shoulder-to-shoulder" approach in a relaxed outdoor environment can make it easier to open up and engage in meaningful conversations, fostering a more comfortable and balanced dynamic with your counsellor. Beyond immediate mood boosts, connecting with nature during therapy can enhance focus, creativity, and even contribute to lasting improvements in self-confidence, emotional control, and overall life effectiveness. It's more than just talking outdoors; it's a holistic experience that engages your mind and body, promoting natural healing and sustained growth.

What can Counselling do for you?

Counselling helps individuals explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping mechanisms, and address various life challenges. It provides a safe and confidential space to discuss issues like mental health conditions, relationship problems, and difficult life events. Ultimately, counselling can empower individuals to manage emotions, improve communication, and enhance their overall well-being.

Counselling can help clients with:

  • Grief and loss

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Stress

  • Seperation and divorce

  • Life transitions

  • Trauma

  • Mental health concerns

  • Post-Traumatic stress

  • Behavioural change

Counselling is an evidence-based practice, meaning the work done with clients is informed by practice, research, and reviewed in individualistic contexts.
